Grrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so furiated with some of the people in the church I attend. Mom and I have been going there all of our lives and have been faithful servants of the Lord through this church. Recently she asked if her and my aunt could perform a special for our Easter service. They were asked to hold off until this coming Sunday because apparently there was no space for them in the service. But the singers, who have only been with us less than a year got to do a special and the pastor, who has been with us about four years, got to sing also. They could have let them do a special during offering.

As if that's not enough, we get a call today saying that the song they want to do won't fit in with the service very well. Therefore, they will not be allowed to do their special on Sunday. I really do not believe that is fair. It shouldn't matter whether it fits in or not. A member or newcomer may need to hear the message in the song. Besides that, we have a right to perform a special whenever we want as long as the Lord has placed a particular song on our hearts. They are wrong to turn people down like that. They will see.
